I never have tried photography. (Or at least taken it seriously. This is SERIOUS photography numero uno.)

my favorite is the top left one. its really amazing. the lighting and everything. i think the others could use a little work but just a little they're already really nice. great job for first time :]

Top left: Really nice, apart from the lens flare.

Top right: Nearly perfect. I'd remove the greenery on the left and extend the focus to not only the pole, but also to the first stick.

Bottom left: Lovely, I'd like it even more if the whole of the left flower was in the shot.

Bottom right: Don't know about this one. The ground doesn't really make a nice BACKground.
I like the webs though=D

Thanks for the tips; See, I don't know these things. :XD: And I was kind of in a rush to get out of that area on the last one, the webs were hard to see from lots of angles, and there were bugs EVERYWHERE ^^;

Oh, I know about bugs, believe me.
I was taking a picture by a stream once and that stream was nearby a bog.
That was in late spring. The mosquitoes where on me in the millions.
And then I'm not exaggerating.
